This one was almost all hand drawn. Even the lettering. I wanted a slithering feeling to the lettering, so tried to make the letters as elastic as possible. The lowercase u is a favorite, as is the j and the a.
Club Mujaba is a fictional nightclub in Cairo, Egypt in the Bond film ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’. doublequeen’s a Bond lover.
The Pyramids are in the film too. The rays of light coming from the pyramids came from a painted motif over the main entryway to Club Mujaba in the film.
I’m also fond of the lettering on the bottom, with the shaky hand detail and the fatness of the letters.
